Grant graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, IA with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Photography and minors in Mass Communications and Advertising. He started building websites while at  Morningside College which has enabled him to achieve recognition within the web development community. While being Lead Web Developer and Creative Director, he also professionally shoots photographs for websites. To stay ahead of the technology curve, he annually attends industry conventions.

Through his work, he has had the opportunity to meet and engage in conversation with national leaders including co-founder of Facebook Chris Hughes, Senator John McCain, Governor Mit Romney, former President Bill Clinton & Hillary, President Barack Obama, and New York Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize winning author Thomas Friedman, just to name a few.
